It’s September! Can you believe it?!?! Countdown to Fall…time to decorate our space with our Fall Decor. Which means money! But, don’t forget…school just started. Which means money! Let’s try to save some money! Dig out some of your old pumpkins, ribbon, etc and let’s get to work!
Don’t you love giving a piece of furniture a “new beginning?” That’s what happened to this end table…it’s not the end, but the beginning…of something great.
I found this table at Restore for $25 and knew that I wanted it as soon as I saw the “bamboo” look on the legs and the top. My thought was that it would be perfect in our vacation home. I was on the lookout for some “beachy” furniture.
I’ve gotta say it…I love IKEA! I do not get to go there often, so when I do…I love it!
This past weekend, my son moved into his dorm at college. While I hate to see him go, I couldn’t help but be a little giddy, because there’s an IKEA just a few miles away! So as soon as we had him settled, off I went! I emerged about 2 1/2 hours later…
I want to send a big Thank You to Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for featuring my Furalicious Bedroom Accessories! I am honored to have been included! It’s always so nice to be featured! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Stop by and check out Marty’s blog and her Table Top Tuesday blog party every Tuesday. You will always find lots of great ideas for your home!
Last week’s Twirl & Take a Bow linky party was full of great ideas and home decor inspirations! There are so many great ideas and some awesome bloggers willing to share them with us!
Here are a few that I want to feature this week:
Jill at Sew A Fine Seam showed us her amazing skills with a sewing machine! I love her Union Jack pillow in yellow! How awesome is that! Way to think outside the box!
This tutorial from Sunday, at A Sunday Afternoon, is great! She teaches us how to paint stripes on furniture. Her desk transformation is gorgeous.
You know I love red…so when I saw the transformations from Deb at Lake Girl Paints…
Now, Let’s Party!…

Don’t you just love a fabric covered headboard? Of course, we all do! We just don’t like the price! Let me show you how I made this beautiful headboard for my daughter’s room at our vacation home, for about $40!
